Question for the week of 11/06/16

Question for the week of 11/06/16:

How are you like a spider? [We all make our webs. You could think of your email friends and your school friends as points on your web. You can’t connect them all with silk or yarn, but you can connect them in other ways, some real and some virtual.]

Today we discussed  Charlotte’s Web, by E.B. White.

E.B. White, Garth Williams (Illustrator). Charlotte's Web. October 15, 1952. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/fe/CharlotteWeb.png Accessed 6 November 2016.

Charlotte wrote the message “SOME PIG” in her web to alert Wilbur’s owners that he deserved a fate better than being butchered. Later in the story, Charlotte wrote “TERRIFIC” and “RADIANT” to describe Wilbur.

“Terrific Pig”. E.B. White, Garth Williams (Illustrator). Charlotte's Web. October 15, 1952. http://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/hostedimages/1441810815i/16155400._SY540_.jpg Accessed 6 November 2016.

Then we made our own web's and explained our messages to the rest of the group.
